Like A Thief In The Night....

Can the gods really be that cruel??

Have you ever had a time in your life when things seemed to be going so perfectly....the stars seemed aligned, every day was a blessing, a joy, you woke up with a smile tugging at the corners of your mouth and a twinkle in your eye, all the rough edges seemed smooth, and the dull skies bright, laughter, fun, happiness...nothing could hurt you, or penetrate your armor of bliss, life was...outstanding!!!

And then, just like a thief in the night, something so unexpected, so unreal, so out of the ordinary, so inexplicable comes along and stabs you in the heart, pierces you in the back, you lose your breath, your vision becomes blurred, there is physical pain, you feel a sense of shock and awe, disbelief, fear, sadness, disappointment, hurt, betrayal, and no amount of screaming or crying or wringing of hands and clutching of self eases the pain so you do nothing. You lie completely still and stare into space, no blinking, no talking, no movement, whatsoever.

It just cannot be true....but, reality stares starkly back at you and you know, alas, yes it is!

The gods cannot be this cruel!! It must be a dream....right??? PLEASE say that it is......

It has happened to me before and I pray that it never happens again!!

Girl, I hope all is well...and okay! I think we have all experienced something similar. I try to block out things sometimes and it's so funny that you posted this today because last night was the first time in a long time that I ...hmm on second thought, I think this is all about you day Miss Jackie...not Dana!! I really and sincerely hope you are okay!! I'll send up a prayer for you!

Yes, I know about that thief all too well. And like you, I pray he never rears his head again. Making me question my sanity. Can't have that.

The good thing, though, is that you were able to recover. So if this unfortunate thievery happens again, you know that you can recover yet again.

I like this post.

Felt the intensity deeply.

I just want to reiterate that this "something" happened quite a while back but for some reason my mind went there and I had a kind of a flashback. All is good now, for sure, but thanks for the concern.

Oh yeah, i'm having one of those moments now...and i'm spending alot of time praying about it...stop asking why, but now i'm just asking for some peace. It seems no matter how i try to see a bright side, i'm still blindsided, no matter how i try to make things right, things just keep coming up wrong...and yet still i stand...i Stand, still.

I can say that I know what this feels like Jackie and I agree with you, man it is like one of the worst, if not the worst feeling in the world. When that reality hits and that sadness sets in, it can really destroy your spirit.

It's one of those situations to pray over and hopefully you can get past things.

When life kicks you. Just kick that bugger right back. Always take up the challenge and never step backwards no matter what the circumstances. Most important of all, be true to yourself........That is the mantra of Faiths Pen Dougie.

Now that Usain has filled out he is going to be a threat. That 9.76 yesterday was sweet.

Last year my robot ceased running. I didn't recognize what exactly to do. Afterward a friend of mine advised me I might obtain a pre-used robot. saldaturaRobot per saldatura here assisted me greatly, at this moment I have all things I need and also I may toil.
