The tile is actually a more muted color.

Anonymousnupe: We just painted the ceiling a solid light color to draw your eye's focus away from the ceiling. Looks like it began as a drop ceiling, is that right? I agree with Jewell, if I had to come home to the former I would feel so drab and blah. Just the brightness that you all brought to the home alone is worth whatever you all charged. The paint in the bedroom definitely takes away from the dungeon feeling bring some light to the room but the color scheme and the textures definitly keeps it warm. That wall paper was definitly out of touch so way to bring some modern flare and elegance to the bathroom experience. Good job.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7216865027062882447.post-78188550690422245712008-11-02T11:03:00.000-08:002008-11-02T11:03:00.000-08:00What a HUGE difference! I would love to come home to that.

In looking at the before pictures, I can see how someone would be depressed (not that this family was) or just feel blah. What you cannot see is the 42" plasma TV and low profile entertainment unit that is across from the sofa, so the sofa kinda has to be positioned where it is. Also, the bookshelves are built-ins so they cannot be moved. The flooring used to be carpeted and we changed it to wood throughout the TV room, living room, dining room and kitchen. Thanks for your opinion though, I appreciate it.Jackie E.https://www.blogger.com/profile/03423251702855821726noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7216865027062882447.post-11444307259370166352008-11-01T22:42:00.000-07:002008-11-01T22:42:00.000-07:00The bathroom seems to be the largest improvement. ...The bathroom seems to be the largest improvement. I'll be looking forward to seeing the backordered blinds. I'm not sure if I like the living room. Seems empty and the furniture is all up against the walls. Not seeing the rest of the room, like a TV or such, maybe that's how it needs to be?

GarretGarrethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08995228204165767887noreply@blogger.com
